Teeth, We all after given these wonderful tools to use for chewing food, self defense and whatever else they after good for. Words come forth through them as well. Some good, some bad.
I don’t have perfect teeth and move surely are not white as other human beings either. They are flawed and I’m flawed.
So what comes through our teeth?
Some of the words that come out of my mouth and through my teeth are extremely encouraging, then there are times when they are downright goofy as can be and even still I do say things that are just not my character at all.
One thing though about words in my point of view is that they are piercing just like teeth are. The world over (once or twice) has a knack for using trigger words to incite elicit behavior, discriminate, tear down, remove, shed tears and all that hoopla of disgrace.
Another thing about words is when spoken we tend to form or make promises and more times then not they are not kept.
I’m guilty of not keeping my word all the time. We all after guilty. I’m not going to point fingers or make some accusation to another. What this post is about is encouraging you and myself the writer to just encourage everyone to keep your word.
Keeping your word can feel like you’re teeth being pulled. We say things we don’t mean when we are angry. We even say things when we just be want to be heard by others.
Imagine every hurtful word or broken promise is a tooth being pulled out. Ouch! Not cool. At all.
You’re dentist is the great physician himself (That is Yeshua/ Jesus to me and my fellow Christians) or even Muhommad for my Islamic friends. I’m not going to leave anyone out of my blogs though either cause all humans have had teeth at some point in our lives.
As a Kid like everyone else we lost are baby teeth. The grown-ups aka are parents when we lost them would tell us about the tooth fairy (Surely if the Tooth Fairy was the Rock then that would be awesome) and make sure we put it under our pillows before bed that night.
Is it lying when we are told this? Honestly yes but I personally don’t think it’s harmful towards the innocence of a child. When we grow up though we know the difference.
The same thing goes with are words, the things we say we will do and the things we promise. Let’s build each other up no matter what day it is. Let’s keep our words clean just as we brush our teeth.
Even though are teeth are pearl white or can be/ should be. Even though they are straight or crooked. No matter how perfect our mouth and the teeth, guns, tongue should be they will never be. This analogy is there same with what we speak.
A soothing tongue is a tree of life, But perversion in it crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:4
This is the choir here saying this. I’m going to do all I can in good conscience to get better. Will you join me?
